01 — Originals
Buying a painting
Write or message with the title. I'll confirm it's available, give you the price, and send more photographs including a mockup at your wall scale — useful, because 60 inches is larger than most people picture.
Payment by bank transfer, UPI or international wire. The painting ships once funds clear: insured, door to door.

02 — Commissions
Commissioning a painting
Large canvas, oil or acrylic, built for a specific wall.
- 1
Send the wall
Dimensions, a photograph of the space, the light at the hour you actually use the room, and anything already hanging.
- 2
We agree the thought
I don't start from a style, so we start from the story — what the painting is for and what it should hold.
- 3
Painting, with progress images
Photographs at each significant stage, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
- 4
Approval, then delivery
Final images before it leaves the studio. Balance on completion. Shipped stretched or rolled, insured either way.
Terms: fifty percent to begin, balance on completion. Price depends on size and medium — ask and you'll get a figure, not a range.
03 — Corporate & hospitality
Work for spaces people spend their days in
Lobbies, boardrooms, hotels, clinics. I work large because scale creates physical presence, which is exactly what a double-height wall needs and what most corporate art fails to deliver.
There is also the Paint for a Cause route: commission a piece with the proceeds designated, and an interiors budget line ends up funding sight and schooling.

Questions
Before you ask
Where can I see more work?
Instagram — @sandhyajathar. Everything I paint goes up there, including work in progress and pieces not listed on this site.
How do I buy a painting?
Write or message with the title. I'll confirm it's still available, share the price if it isn't listed, and send additional photographs including a mockup at your wall scale. Payment by bank transfer, UPI or international wire.
Are prices listed?
Some are. Mask-Age is INR 2,00,000. For the others, price depends on size and medium — ask about any piece and you'll get a figure the same day.
Can I commission a painting?
Yes. Send the wall: dimensions, a photograph of the space, the light at the hour you use the room. Fifty percent to begin, balance on completion.
Do you sell prints?
No. Originals only — one of one, signed.
Can I see a work in person?
Yes, in Mumbai by appointment. Photographs flatten paint, particularly on the heavily textured work. If you're elsewhere I'll send video in natural daylight.
How is shipping handled?
Insured, door to door, within India and internationally. Large canvases ship rolled with re-stretching instructions, or stretched in a crate. Quoted separately at cost.
Are you open to exhibitions and press?
Yes — group shows, curated pop-ups, art fairs and editorial. Artist statement, high-resolution files and installation images available on request.
